But I figure I should write something. In a hotel. Was in Calgary over the weekend but then sent back out into the field today. Long day of driving, and a few more hours tomorrow and I'll be out at my site for the winter. Rig will move in tomorrow as well.
My father reports that aside from the remaining water in my toilet bowl having frozen that the house is fine, if cold.
Got the last of my grades from this past semester posted today. Good semester. One class wasn't ideal, but overall I'm satisfied, and I'm happy to have many months off before going back.

Also I finished the antarctic book (well, looking thoroughly through it since it's not exactly a reading book to be finished) and thought that aside from the penguins, the SHELVES are the best part. They're so thick and massive. I think the expansiveness (is that a word?) of it all is what I like best. Thanks for the rec.
Right. My bad. That occurred to me 20 seconds after leaving my reply comment.
ReplyDeleteNo idea. I haven't heard anything back. So either nobody on their end followed up at all, they haven't finished following up yet, they approved it and didn't tell me, or they rejected it and didn't tell me.
Who knows. Any which way, though, seems typical.
